Dr. Nameer Haider is a serial entrepreneur with vast experience in healthcare and technology. He is a graduate of King Edward Medical University and is triple board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation, pain medicine and interventional pain management.
He has founded clinical institutes and Ambulatory Surgical Centers in New York, Virginia, and Washington DC, and is the Chairman of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New York and a past President of the New York State Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
His area of expertise includes minimally invasive therapies, neuromodulation, bio-integrated electronics and healthcare/medical device related cyber-security and invented the “Haider Halo 360” procedure to treat Chronic Migraine Headaches.
Dr. Haider has active surgical privileges at Georgetown University and George Washington University Medical Centers in Washington DC. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, International Neuromodulation Society, North American Spine Society, North American Neurosurgical Association and the World Institute of Pain. His cutting-edge research is regularly published and presented at international conferences and leading medical journals. He has also authored numerous chapters in medical textbooks.
Dr. Haider has served as an expert consultant for Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific, Pacira, Cephalon, Teva, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, BCBS, MVP Healthcare, Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer, Alpharma, Cephalon, King Pharma, PriCara, Ortho-McNeil, Janssen and Lilly and Jazz corporations, as well as the Federal Government Centers for Medicare Services (CMS) and National Government Services (NGS).
Dr. Haider is Founder of the Minimally Invasive Pain Institute, KILLPAIN, Cell Bionics Institute, Ortho-Urgent Urgent Care centers, Omni Surgery Center, Biogenomics Genetic Laboratories and the Washington Institute of Surgical Engineering (WISE) Bio-skills Clinical Research Laboratories.
He currently serves on several boards, including the Medical Advisory Board of Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Boston Scientific Corp., Versastim LLC, Heritage Ambulatory Surgery Center Alliance, FiberElectronics LLC, Med-Ally LLC and the Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company where he recently participated in the USD 2 Billion acquisition of MLMIC by Berkshire Hathaway.
